Dmitri Smolansky is the Head of Portfolio Management at SECOR and the lead portfolio manager for its equity hedging strategies. Dmitri started his career in asset management at GM Pension Plan in 1998, where he managed a multi-billion global asset allocation program and a multi-asset Balanced Fund. Between 2005 and 2016, Dmitri managed global macro portfolios for Citigroup and Man Financial, and then founded Bleecker Street Capital, LLC - a global macro CTA. Dmitri joined SECOR in 2016 and has been managing the current version of its equity hedging program for institutional clients since 2017. Dmitri received a B.S. in Statistics from the University of Illinois and earned an M.B.A. from New York University, Stern.
