Kaylon J. McInelly, C.F.A

Mr. McInelly joined the WVU Foundation in 2014 and works in collaboration with the CIO on manager selection, investment monitoring, investment strategy, and portfolio hedging. Mr. McInelly has fourteen years of asset allocator experience across all asset classes, including tail-risk hedging. Prior to joining the WVU Foundation, he was a Fund Manager at the ICMA Retirement Corporation where he was responsible for $4 billion in sub-advised mandates. Before joining the ICMA Retirement Corporation in 2010, he was an Investment Analyst at the University System of Maryland Foundation from 2006 to 2010 providing investment support to the CIO across all asset classes and in portfolio hedging. Mr. McInelly has served as a Finance Committee member for the CFA Society of Washington, D.C. and as the Investment Committee Chairman for the National Economist Club. He graduated with a Masters in Finance in 2005 and a Bachelors in Business Economics in 2004 from the University of Arizona.
