Rachel began her career at Prologue Capital LLP, a fixed income hedge fund with offices in London, New York and Miami. She was actively involved in dealing with the fund’s legal and compliance work, as well as investor relations and marketing. She left Prologue to train as a derivatives lawyer with the boutique firm Daniel Harris & Co International Ltd., then the Derivatives and Trading Group at Macfarlanes LLP. Having qualified as a solicitor in 2013, Rachel established the niche law practice Rachel Smoker Fund Documentation Ltd., to specialise in representing buy side participants.
