Beginning 2016 Markus was appointed Global Head Sales for Equity and Equity Index Derivatives at Eurex. Before this assignment he was -as an Executive Director- running the Derivative business for Eurex Zurich AG. Within this mandate he was responsible for all Sales and Marketing activities covering sell-side, as well as buy-side clients in Switzerland, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey and Israel. Throughout this mandate to run the sales activities for Eurex Zurich AG he acquired additional sales responsibilities for the Eurex VSTOXX derivatives portfolio. Before joining Eurex Markus was for almost 10 years a Senior Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income Derivatives Trader at Citibank in Germany and Switzerland. Markus is holding a Master Degree in Economics.
